This week we are seeing record temperatures throughout the UK with temperatures hitting the highest point for almost a decade. London is set to reach upward temperatures of 36 C meaning there has never been a better time to enjoy my company in the heat of one of the greatest city on earth. I will be taking a look at some of my favourite things to do in London in the sunshine.
For me there is nothing quite like spending a warm summers day in one of the central London parks. Whether it's simply enjoying a romantic walk, a picnic in the park or enjoying some of the water activities like a romantic boat trip. Why not enjoy a romantic picnic together, with a picnic box from Butlers Wharf Chophouse. An absolutely amazing little selection of treats including spit roasted chicken, a selection of cheeses, a Jensen gin cup and lots more. Lets find a quiet spot in Kensington gardens and enjoy an afternoon to remember.
There are few better ways to truly soak up the culture and occasion of London, than in one of the superb rooftop bars that are situated atop London's tall buildings. There really is no shortage of options, but one of my favourites has to be aqua spirit. You have to enter through the elegant Japanese restaurant and make your way to the rooftop bar selling excellent and refreshing cocktails. With great views of the surrounding areas, there are few better places to enjoy a quiet drink.
While the sun continues to shine there will be plenty of exciting things to explore in the city. I will be continuing to look at some of my favourite places to enjoy the sunshine in London right here on our blog.
